I worked as a UI developer for different products. Most of my responsibilities were understanding the process of the product and develop the designers ideas into the workable prototype. I worked very closely with the design team through a process of designing wireframes and developing prototypes during which researchers listed issues about the concerns in the UI. I worked as a team to support, enhance and test the existing software apps as well as gather customer requirements for new enhancements for the products and conducting user interviews for the products.
Responsibilities :
As a UI Developer i convert the representation of ideas into words, pictures, icons or other aspects that a user can easily understand and work with, i.e. creating an "interface" with the user. I am also responsible to determine flow patterns, the best places to put features, and how to reduce user friction with the interface. People in this role understand human behavior and are skilled at defining and then creating a system that users will be comfortable with.
